Custom Watch Strap

The Left/Foot Watch Strap is where it all started. Carefully crafted in a colorful line-up of leathers, select your materials, color, length and width—and leave the rest to us. We make straps from your choice of the finest Italian cowhides or shell cordovan from tanneries in the US, Italy, and Japan. Our handmade watch straps come fully lined and taper 2mm over their length.

Ordering Options

Customize your strap with your choice of leather type, sizing, and color. Once we receive your order, we’ll be in touch via email to confirm all the details, such as thread color, and to get an exact measurement to perfect your fit (drop-down sizing is simply a starting point).

For standard straps, we primarily work with Buttero leather from the Conceria Walpier tannery in Italy.

Buttero Leather is a semi-firm vegetable tanned leather produced in Italy that’s known for its deep, rich colors. Buttero has a medium level of scratch and stain resistance, making it an excellent choice for wallets and watch straps. Our Buttero watch strap comes with natural, burnished edges made to age beautifully.

For something a touch fancier, we also offer shell cordovan straps in a limited range of colors, dependent on availability. We aim to keep most common colors in stock.

Shell Cordovan is a highly sought-after, finely finished material that comes from a particular part of a horse’s rump. Durable, colorful, and typically glazed to a characteristic shine, cordovan ages like no other leather on earth. Due to its relative scarcity and intensive tanning process, shell cordovan is considerably more expensive than typical cowhide—but we feel the extra price is worth it. For straps, we work with cordovan from Horween in the US and Shinki Hikaku in Japan.

As standard, straps do not include a buckle, but one can be included for no extra charge. Please add to order notes if you would like a buckle.
