The Left Foot Watch Strap is where it all started. Carefully crafted in standard and exotic leathers, simply select your materials, color, length and width. Choose between Italian leather or shell cordovan. Our handmade watch straps come fully lined and taper 2mm over their length. Want something truly bespoke? Send us a message and we’ll make it happen.
Simply choose your leather and color. For standard straps, we primarily work with Buttero leather from the Conceria Walpier tannery in Italy.
Buttero Leather is a semi-firm vegetable tanned leather produced in Italy and known for its deep, rich colors. Buttero has a medium level of scratch and stain resistance, making it an excellent choice for Flat Wallets, Watch Straps and Bifolds. Our Buttero watch strap comes with natural, burnished edges made to age beautifully. For a more European look, edges can be painted on request for no extra charge.
For exotic leathers, we offer handmade watch straps in Shell Cordovan and American Alligator.
Cordovan is considered by many to be one of the finest leathers on earth. Tanned from horse hide and renowned for its rich, deep color and unrivaled sheen, we source Cordovan from Tuscany and the tannery Shell Cordovan, Shinki Hikaku in Japan and others.
Materials for our Alligator straps come from American Tanning in the USA. Alligator watch straps feature painted edges and are made to order, with time required for delivery of materials. If you’d like an exotic strap, please shoot us a message.
